DAM Berryessa Swim
Davis Aquatic Masters (DAM) host 1 and 2 mile annual open-water swims in Lake Berryessa.
This was my first open water event, and the first time I swum 2 miles. I am a slow swimmer and when I couldn't see any other swimmers I assumed I was dead last. As my goal was simply to finish, not finish in a particular time, maybe I shouldn't have got hung up on being last. When the results were posted there were a few people even slower than me, which came as a relief!
