At some point in the future I'll add some positive thoughts on foreign travel. For now, I'll just say avoid flying American Airlines. As of early 2022, their scheduling seems to be suffering due to staff shortages and/or general incompetence, leading to 3 changes to our flights and being automatically rebooked on a flight to an airport that wasn't our intended destination. American's policy is that dumping you within 300 miles of your intended destination is close enough, and the rest is then up to you.
